Blueface was arrested for felony gun possession in Los Angeles earlier this month and now he’s been charged for the crime.
The Famous Cryp artist was apprehended after police pulled up to his crew causing them to flee and toss their guns in the bushes.
Blueface and two other individuals were taken into custody and he was later released on $35,000 bail. Now, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office confirms that he’s been charged with possession of an unregistered loaded firearm by a felon. Blueface could be facing up to three years behind bars if convicted and to make matters worse, he’s already fighting a case over a high-speed shootout from November.
The “Studio” rapper has stayed busy in 2019 releasing “Thotiana” remixes with both Cardi B and YG. He’s made his rounds to various media outlets, helped Jacquees with his “You” remix, appeared in James Too Cold’s video for “No Witness,” and teased “West Coast” and “Bop” as well.
Blueface is working on a new album, which is expected to arrive in the near future and feature a contribution from Drake.
Check back for more information on the case as it develops.
